Outdoor Portrait

This was shot for an outdoor portrait assignment. It was lit with both available light and off camera flash.

Hurrell

The black and white image is meant to mimic the lighting style of George Hurrell. I used a parabolic to outline her face, at a high angle to achieve a short butterfly affect. MainF11 FillF4

This weekend I tagged along with some friends to a Greensboro train station. These are both shot with available light.

This was shot in my garage as a one light set up. I used an non-modified White Lightning. This shot was unplanned, I was setting up for a shoot with someone else, when Tyler came down with his guitar and I took his portrait.

Summer: Up Close and Personal

This portrait is from Small Format Class over the summer. We had to shoot 36 different people with a wide angle lens. Of the 36 I met, 20. Stephen Speight was the most interesting to talk to. He was full of personality, and works as a maintenance man in an apartment complex. He was checking out some one's dryer that caught on fire.
